Well, we left the festival today to head south a bit to meet up with Eric Noah. On the way there we were ambushed. And by Gruknok of all people. I thought we put him down last time we met. Guess resurrection can be cheap these days. Aside from a cloudkill on my wagon that killed Vernon and two horses, we came out unscathed. Phillip almost bit it in his duel, but he's lucky the rest of us don't mind butting in if it means saving a friend's life. Also, Gruknok and his companions won't be coming back this time. We picked up the pieces that were left of him after I was finished with him and burned their bodies. The horses will be easily replaced, but Vernon. Well, it's going to cost us some money to raise him. We're thinking of leaving him on the Arm to keep this from happening again.
