Survey : Questions 1-49
THE 5000 QUESTION SURVEY Version 2.0

1. Who are you?
I am Cyn. Hear me roar. *rrrooooooooaaaarrrrrrrr*

2. What are the 3 most important things everyone should know about you?
Hmmm...I'm probably not quite what I seem, I tend to hide any hurt or pain people cause me, and sometimes I may come across as cold or snobby when really I'm just shy or feeling out of place.

3. When you aren't filling out 5,000 question surveys like this one what are you doing?
Playing on the internet or playing with kittens, or cleaning house, or hanging out with my friends. I think that pretty much covers my boring little life. *grin*

4. List your classes in school from the ones you like the most to the ones you like the least (or if you are out of school, think of the classes you did like and didn't like at the time).
I've had too many classes to keep up with, some that I absolutely loved are Meteorology (HS), American Lit (College), British Lit (College), Geometry (HS and College), Creative Writing (HS), and I liked most of my classes at New River as well.

5. What is your biggest goal for this year?
To find a job. Almost any job will do, as long as it pays money. I just need a job.

6. Where will you be in 5 years?
In an apartment somewhere, with my cats, and living near friends. I'll have a decent job and overall will hopefully be happy with my life.

7. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Design websites. Be happy. Enjoy my life.

8. Are you more child-like or childish?
Not really sure what the difference is, but I'd have to go with child-like. I can act every bit the five year old if I really want to, but I like to think I'm pretty mature when it counts.

9. What is the last thing you said out loud?
Probably something along the lines of "Stop it Rakka. Quit licking my face." Said to my little kitty. You know, it's hard to remember the last thing you said aloud when you're home alone and not talking much in general.

10. What song comes closest to how you feel about your life right now?
I don't know. Right now I really like the song Imaginary by Evanescence and I feel that I can identify with it in some small way.

11. Have you ever taken martial arts classes?
Nope.

12. Does your life tend to get better or worse or does it just stay the same?
It depends on how I look at it. I'm the one who decides what's better or worse so it really is linked to what mood I'm in at the moment. Right now life is pretty good, but it could be better for my own personal sake.

13. Does time really heal all wounds?
No. Time might dull the pain or lessen the throbbing but I don't think it can actually heal anything.

14. How do you handle a rainy day?
I sit in my room and read or play on the computer.

15. Which is worse...losing your luggage or having to sort out tangled holiday lights?
I can't really answer this as I've never lost my luggage. I would say losing luggage though because I'm pretty good at detangling holiday lights.

16. How is your relationship with your parents? Will you miss them when they are gone?
Hell yes I'll miss them. I'm very close to my mom and even though I'm not as close to my dad I can't imagine living without him. He has his own way of really pushing me to be all that I can be and I don't know what I'd do without him or my mom.

17. Do you tend to be aware of what is going on around you?
Depends on what I'm doing. Most of the time yes. But if I'm reading a book, working on the computer on a design or something, or watching a really good program or movie on tv then I tend to not notice anything. Reading a book is the worse though.

18. What is the truest thing that you know?
I could say something trite and boring, but I don't want to. I don't know what to say here. I don't know how to gauge something as being the truest thing I know. I guess I would have to say myself. Even for all I am still trying to figure out who I am, there are things about me that I know will always be there.

19. What do you want your life to be like, as the future takes clearer shape?
Whatever it's like. I just want to be happy with myself and the choices I make. I'd like to have a little more money and be able to do more things than I can now, but I can live without that.

20. Have you ever been given a second chance?
Depends on what kind of second chance you're talking about. A huge, life changing second chance? No, not really. I haven't done much that would warrant that. Small second chances that can add up to changing your life even if you don't know it at the time, yes, plenty of them. And I'm thankful for them too.

21. Are you more of a giver or a taker?
I would say I am a giver. I'm one of those people that can be walked all over if I'm not careful and sure of what I'm doing. Not to say I put up with stupid shit, but I definitely will do whatever I can for people and sometimes it pushes me to annoyance that they don't seem to care.

22. Do you make your decisions with an open heart?
I like to think I do, but who knows. I am also a very logical person, so I tend to follow my logic a lot more than I would just follow my heart. But I also know that if I'm passionate about something, I'm going to do it no matter what.

23. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?
Hmm...all the pains that add up over your life kind of blend together. Or at least they do for me because to be honest I haven't had a whole lot of painful stuff happen. Cracking my head open when I was five would probably be it, although I can't really remember how painful it was. I just know I screamed bloody murder for a while.

24. What is the most emotionally painful thing that has ever happened to you?
I don't know this one either. Getting my heart broken hurt a lot. And when each of my parents had different surgeries (at different times too) it nearly scared me to death.

25. Who have you hugged today?
Do my kitties count? I haven't seen anyone but Reki and Rakka have been climbing on me and loving on me and falling asleep on me today.

26. Who has done something today to show they care about you?
Again, do kitties count? *grin* See above.

27. Do you have a lot to learn?
Yes. And I hope to never stop.

28. If you could learn how to do three things just by wishing and not by working what would they be?
Hmmm...To speak fluently in other languages, photographic memory or something of the sort, and all manners of web design coding (such as javascript, c++, and so on).

29. Which do you remember the longest: what other people say, what other people do or how other people make you feel?
I'd have to go with how they make me feel. That's something that sticks around even if memories start to fade.

30. What are the key ingredients to having a good relationship?
Well, being honest, respecting the other person, and learning to accept all aspects of a person.

31. What 3 things do you want to do before you die?
Go to another country, fall in love, and take a random road trip.

32. What three things would you want to die to avoid doing?
There's not much I would die to avoid doing.

33. Is there a cause you believe in more than any other cause?
Ummm, not sure what you mean. I guess not really. I'm not the kind of person to get super gung ho behind a cause, although I will offer support and do what I feel is right.

The 19..

35. Which decade do you feel the most special connection to and why?
Can I pick two? Of course I can. The 80's and 90's because they were my childhood.

36. What is your favorite oldie/classic rock song?
Ummm, I love Old Time Rock N Roll. I also love Chantilly Lace by the Big Bopper. Me and my sister used to sing it in the car all the time when we were kids.

37. If you could say any sentence to the president of the USA what would it be?
Ummm....Hi? - I really don't know what I would say to the president because I am not a political person at all and I would probably just be very quiet in general.

38. What's your favorite TV channel to watch in the middle of the night?
Anything with infomercials on. I get sucked into those things, especially if it's late at night.

39. What Disney villain are you the most like and why?
The most like....um....I don't know.

40. Have you ever been a girl scout/boy scout?
Yep. I was in the girl scouts until about 3rd grade.

41. If you were traveling to another continent would you rather fly or take a boat?
I think I'd rather fly, although if I didn't get too seasick a boat could be fun.

42. Why is the sky blue during the day and black at night?
The light is reflected differently because the sun is much much brighter than the moon.

43. What does your name mean?
Goddess of the Moon, according to the Greek version. Which is cool because I love the moon.

44. Would you rather explore the deeps of the ocean or outer space?
Outer space. There are too many weird things in the ocean.

45. Word association
What is the first word that comes to mind when you see the word:

Air: Plane
Meat: Tenderizer
Different: Same
Pink: Purple
Deserve: Nothing
White: Spots

Heart: Broken
Clash: Titans
Pulp: Fiction

46. If you could meet any person who is dead and famous who would you want it to be?
I think it would be cool to meet Leonardo Da Vinci.

47. What if you could meet anyone alive and famous?
Ummm....*grin* Orlando Bloom. Oh yeah.

48. Is there a movie that you love so much you could watch it everyday?
I don't know if I could go so far as everyday, but I watch Labyrinth and The Princess Bride a whole lot. Labyrinth usually if I'm cleaning and The Princess Bride whenever I'm sick or not feeling well.

49. You are going to be stuck alone in an elevator for a week. What do you bring to do?
A journal to write in, a pen to write with, and a really thick book. Hopefully I'll have some sort of food as well. I don't think it'd really be that bad to be stuck in an elevator for a week. I'd have bouts of boredom, but overall I think I could handle it rather well.
